Your dream embroidery business is possible!
Getting into the embroidery business isn’t easy and it isn’t cheap, so I know you’re serious about making your embroidery and apparel decoration business a success. That means you need more than just the embroidery machine to start seeing the results you want. Now is the best time to invest in yourself and your future success – become a member of the National Network of Embroidery Professionals. Our profitable, thriving business owners (all members of the NNEP) are certainly glad they did!
The difference between running your business as a hobby, and making a living that can support you (and your family) is how seriously you take it.
Many who get into this industry do so because they think it will be an easy way to make some extra money in their spare time – but you and I know differently – that all successful businesses are run on the same principles as any you’ll find in "big business" – so you need the tools and resources to close the gap between you and the big guys.
This is where NNEP comes in - we provide these tools and resources, for less than 61 cents a day for you and your entire business!
The average embroidery business owner does $62,000 in sales a year – but 30% of them go out of business each year – which do you want?
As a Member of NNEP – you will be entitled to:
- Access to top level, industry-specific marketing and business strategy and advice.
- A warm and welcoming community of industry leaders, experts and business owners – like yourself.
- Exclusive training and development, so you can stay on top of industry trends – as they emerge.
- Information about the newest product and technology developments across the industry.
- Discounts from vendors and suppliers on blanks, tools and materials you need for every order. (These savings alone cover more than double the cost of membership!)
- A framework for moving your business to the next level – and the support and information you need to confirm you’re on the right track and to help you course-correct as needed.
We don’t want to brag – so here is what some of our members have to say:
"I read your member email this morning. By 11 AM, I applied what you said and I closed a sale for $4,700! Thanks for helping me stay focused on the important things and showing me how to get them done." - Derryl Caldwell, The Mad Hatter
"I joined this morning at 9 AM. By 9:30 AM, I already knew that I got my money's worth, in my first phone call to NNEP! I sure wish I had known about NNEP 3 years ago." - Blanka Barnett, Stitchin' Frog LLC
"Thanks so much for the great ideas! You just gave me well more than $200 of information, just in this conversation! And I LOVE the fact you picked up the phone - not voicemail." - Rosemarie Stefaniw, Lucky 1 Embroidery
"Since attending the show in Huron and becoming familiar with Transfer Express, Twill USA and Midwest Punch I have increased my sales by $6000 the last two months. Thanks for all you do to help us!" - Jeannine M, Sew Crazy

We have called NNEP and gotten so much support! We run into friends and contacts we met at the conference at other shows.

I know that it can be hard to make this kind of investment in your success – there are a lot of options out there – and as an entrepreneur, money is tight – so I want to make sure you feel absolutely comfortable working with us to grow your business and expand your reach.
To make the decision easier for you, I’ve decided to make available – for a limited time only - some bonuses that I think will help you get the absolute most out of your new membership.

Hello,
My wife and I started an in home quilting, sewing and embroidery business several years back. I have taken many digitizing classes and do most of the embroidery work. I’m interested in taking the embroidery piece to the next level. We are in our late 50’s early 60’s, work full time in our current job fields, and I am looking to grow this business to enable a transition away from my current profession. In your opinion, is NNEP an organization suited to help us in our current situation?
When I purchased my machine Toyota ESP830 I purchased magnetic hoops. Since then I haven't seen these hoops again. Does anyone have magnetic hoops for sale? I really like these hoops, they're easy to put on the machine and take off again.
Thank you.
Hi Dorothy! I suspect you are the lucky owner of what are known as Mighty Hoops. Contact the folks at Hoopmaster, as this is one of their product lines. You can reach them at 800-900-0741 or go to http://www.hoopmaster.com/.
NNEP has been a huge help with us... from the NNEP shows to the classrooms.. Going to our first NNEP show actually helped our business grow within a few weeks after the show. There is no pressure from any of the vendors to purchase anything. From attending the shows you get a jump on the latest garments, equipment, and processes that are new to the industry. We started out in the backroom of our home and with in 5 or 6 months we purchased our first commercial unit. We out grew that within a year and a half and since have purchased a new unit about 4800 square feet and now own 57 percent of the plaza we are in. It has been a great help from NNEP and some of my company reps that have made us very successful in the embroidery industry...with out NNEP... who knows if we would have ever left the backroom of our home...Thank you NNEP and its staff..
Hello:
I'm a Proforma Distributor and I am looking for a contract decorator who offers raised silicone heat transfers. Can you refer me to a company that offers this? Volume would initially be 500 pieces with re-orders to follow.
Hey there Duane, We have lots of companies that can handle this kind of volume. I will reach out to you directly.
I can not find my NNEP # Can you please send it to me? Thank you.
We sent it to you by email Ann!
Do you do any trade shows on the west coast. Perferrable, California ??
Hey there Renee, NNEP does not host events on the West coast. There are some great events out there, however. Check out The NBM Show and ISS - both have an excellent show in California. Then you have PPAI in Las Vegas in January which is an experience everyone should have at least once!

Hey there Ann, Your NNEP membership kit was sent by mail. NNEP is not affiliated with PPAI. They are a great organization. If you do not become a member of theirs, at least apply for the UPIC number, apply at UPIC.org. I will email you some sources for scrubs and for denim shirts. You can always connect with us immediately by phone at 800/866-7396, or pop us an email - NNEP @ nnep.com for a faster response. 🙂
Are there any industry specifications covering embroidery? We aer in the advertising specialty business and purchase large quantities of embroidered garments. We would like to find a way to avoid future misunderstandings by being able to issue purchase orders with meaningful specifications. Can you help us? If you do not have such information available, can you advise where we may be able to access such data. Thank you.
I don't own a embroidery machine this is interesting. Need some insight
Jennifer,
I'm needing not to renew my membership to NNEP. I think it is up for renewal this week. I still would love to come to the NNEP conferences if I could get updates on these. I might decide to update at a later time. But as of today we have decided to cancel. So sorry for this!
Thanks for everything,
Kathy Morgan
Hey there Kathy! Yup, your membership renewal date is this week. YOU are always welcome at NNEP events, and as a past attendee, you will get the alerts when registration opens. Everyone in this industry is welcome to attend, membership is not required. 🙂 We wish you all the best with your business.
