On some level, you know that in order for your business to succeed, you need a plan. But we often put off developing that plan, much less actually implementing it.
Well, remember the last vacation that you went on that was really great? You probably spent a decent amount of time and effort planning for it and even saving for it. You researched and then evaluated your options and then you developed a plan. The right hotel, good flights, fun things to do, amazing things to see and experience. You decided where you were going to spend your time and spend your money. Ultimately, you had a great experience, right?
Now imagine where your business would be even just six months from now IF you put the same effort, thought and time into planning for its success. Developing a plan will help identify some barriers and even some opportunities for you and your business!
Success does not happen by accident very often. Success does not usually come as the result of saying, "I am in business." The level of your success is the result of your actions, your effort, your plan (or lack thereof). Random, accidental or deliberate - the choice is totally up to you!
